Vietnamese athlete bags gold medal at World Wushu Championship
PANO - The Vietnamese team recently ended its competition at the World Wushu Championship in Kazan, Russia, winning two gold, five silver and two bronze medals, ranking the sixth at the tournament.

In the men’s 52kg category final, Vu Minh Duc defeated Arnel Mandal (the Philippines) to win 2-0 and earned one more gold medal for Vietnam Wushu team. Earlier, Duong Thuy Vi won a gold medal in taolu event.
The Wushu World Championship 2017 is the third big tournament that the Vietnam Wushu team has participated in to date. Previously, the team participated in SEA Games 2017 and AIMAG 2017. In SEA Games, Thuy Vi and Phuong Giang brought home three gold medals.
