Nguyen Thi Hoai Nuong and Nguyen Hoang Du earn one gold for Vietnam in the women’s self-defense event of Vovinam.

With the latest medal, the Vietnamese Vovinam team have so far brought home three gold, five silver and one bronze.      

The same day, Bui Thi Thao Ngan of the team also won a slot in the final match of the women's 65kg combat event, meaning one more medal is on the way for Vietnam.
