“One track - Two countries” int’l bike race 2023 launched
PANO - The opening ceremony of the international bike race entitled Chinese Honghe - Vietnam’s Lao Cai “One track - Two countries” 2023 was held on December 9 at the ethnic culture square in Hekou district, Chinese province of Yunnan.
The two-day event saw the participation of 615 racers, including 208 Vietnamese racers.

The international bike race helps strengthen the cooperative and friendly ties between Lao Cai province and Honghe county in particular, and between Vietnam and China in general. |
Both female and male racers in different ages competed in two distance events of 25km and 80km. They joined competitions in categories of individual cross-country off-road racing, and individual road racing, and friendly team.
Lao Cai province and Honghe county take turns to host this large-scale bike race.
Over the past time, the race has attracted a large number of Vietnamese and Chinese racers, thus deepening the two sides’ cooperation in culture, sports, and tourism and promoting people-to-people diplomacy. This has also helped strengthen the cooperative and friendly ties between Lao Cai province and Honghe county in particular, and between Vietnam and China in general.
