HCM City holds run for charity
PANO – More than 9,000 runners from 50 countries and territories worldwide participated in a marathon held by the Ho Chi Minh City’s Athletics Federation and Pulse Active company on January 13.
The racers competed in different events, including Marathon (42km), half Marathon (21km, 10km, and 5km) and Kids Dash (1km).
All proceeds from the run will be used to support local disabled people and Agent Orange/dioxin victims.
Runners Che Change Chia from Taiwan (China), Dorflinger Simon from Germany, and Le Huu Loc from Vietnam finished first at 2:35:00, 1:13:51, and 35:35, respectively, in the three longest distances.
