Addressing the event, Editor-in-Chief of the The Thao & Van Hoa newspaper, and head of the organizing panel of the awards Le Xuan Thanh stressed that the awards were to honor outstanding faces of Vietnamese popular music in 2024 and the most prominent faces of the country's sports sector.

The Athlete of the Year Award goes to striker Nguyen Xuan Son.

In the category of Devotion Sports Awards, the Sports Achievement of the Year Award went to the national men’s football team, the ASEAN Cup 2024 champions. Striker Nguyen Xuan Son was honored with the Athlete of the Year Award. Canoeist Nguyen Thi Huong was presented the Young Athlete of the Year Award while the the Spirit of Devotion Award was given to Dong Luc Joint-Stock Company.

In the category of Devotion Music Awards, composer Phan Manh Quynh was honored as the Musician of the Year; SlimV (Cao Van Vinh) the Producer of the Year, Duong DOMIC (Tran Dang Duong) the New Artist of the Year; SKYNote by singer Quoc Thien the Program of the Year; the live concert “Anh trai vuot ngan chong gai” (Call Me By Fire Vietnam) the Series of the Year; “Bat no len” (Turn it on) by SOOBIN the Album of the Year; “Gia nhu” (If) by SOOBIN the Music Video of the Year. Trang Phap and SOOBIN were named Female Artist and Male Artist of the Year.

The Song of the Year Award went to “Tai sinh” (Reborn) by Tung Duong, a familiar face of the Devotion Awards over the past 20 years. He has won 13 awards.

Attentively, in this year’s awards, many individuals were honored for their significant and sustainable contribution to the Devotion Awards over the past two decades. Accordingly, insignias of the Devotion Awards were presented to the awards’ special advisor musician Duong Thu, singer Tung Duong, singer My Tam, former VNA Deputy General Director journalist Ngo Ha Thai, and the awards’ deputy head of the organizer journalist Huu Trinh.
