The film was adapted from a short story of the same name, written by the film director in 1995. The main character of the movie is a boy, named Ca (fish), living with his father by a river. Ca always dreams of a city full of light like the one in the fairy tales told by his father.

So far, the film has won a number of international awards, such as Best Narrative Feature Film at the 17th DC Asian American Film Festival in Washington, DC, Best Director and Best Cinematographer at the sixth USA Independent Film Festival.

The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival is one of the biggest film festivals in the world, targeting to struggle for cultural and racial diversity and to praise dedication for arts and community. This year, the 21st film festival will take place in Tallinn city of Estonia from November 17 to December 3. Each year, the festival attracts more than 1,000 international filmmakers, screens around 250 feature films and more than 300 shorts and animations, sees the attendance of 80,000 film lovers.
