Film week marking 70 years of Wounded Soldiers’ and Martyrs’ Day to be held
PANO - A film week in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Wounded Soldiers’ and Martyrs’ Day (July 27) will take place nationwide from July 24 to 30.
During the week, feature film titled “Mat bien” (Sea’s eye), and documentaries “K10”, “Ta con gui lua trong than” (Keep charcoal burning), and “Tang sau binh yen” (Quiet place) will be screened nationwide.
The opening ceremony of the film week will be held in Phu Tho province.

During the week, there will be exchanges between artists and spectators at the Phu Tho provincial convalescent center for national contributors and Regiment 98 of Military Region 2’s Division 316.
The organizing panel includes representatives from the Vietnam Cinematography Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; the Department of Information and Training under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army; the People’s Army Cinema; the Military Film Distribution and Video Firm; the Vietnam National Studio for Documentary Scientific Film; Giai Phong (Liberation) Film Joint-Stock Company; provinces’ and cities’ Departments of Culture and Sports (Departments of Culture and Sports and Tourism); Cinema Companies; Film Distribution and Cinema Centers.
