Vietnam attends Yosakoi Festival 2011 in Japan

The Vietnam team “Yosakoi Hanoi - 1,000 Years” attended Harajuku Omotesando Super Yosakoi Festival 2011 on August 27^th and 28^th in Tokyo, Japan.

The Vietnam team had performed in three major stages and contributed various performances to the street parade. The Yosakoi is modern dance combining the Japanese traditional Awa Odori dance and modern music.

Apart from Vietnam team, this year’s event drew participation of 90 Japan’s leading Yosakoi teams.

The “Yosakoi Hanoi - 1,000 years”, known as Hanoi Sennen Yosakoi, is a amateur dancing troupe founded on September 2^nd, 2008 with 10 members. At present, the team has gathered a lot of Yosakoi dance lovers.
