Hosts Viet Nam will play in the ASEAN Football Championship's semi finals after beating Brunei 6-0 in Ho Chi Minh City on August 4.

With this victory, Viet Nam now rank second in group B and will play against U20 Myanmar, who placed the first in group A, in the semi-final match on August 7.

Also in August 4, Thailand defeated Cambodia 7-0 to lead group B. They will face Malaysia in the next match.

The tournament, which opened on July 31, attracted eight teams, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and host Viet Nam.
