The twinning ceremony is a ritual holding humane and educational significance in the community and manifesting the sociable lifestyle of E De people.

In villages in the Central Highlands, E De people have preserved and passed such a ceremony.

According to the E De ethnic group, just people in the same big family can do twinning. After the twinning ceremony, the two families become brothers or sisters. They give assistance to each other in all works and overcome all difficulties together. The twinning ceremony also connects members of the big family, helping them unite to build a more prosperous, rich and beautiful villages.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce several photos of the twinning ceremony.
