Photo exhibition on Hugo Chavez opened in Hanoi
PANO - A photo exhibition entitled “Hugo Chavez and Vietnam” opened in Hanoi on March 5 by the Venezuelan Embassy in Vietnam on the occasion of his fifth death anniversary (March 5).

In his speech, Venezuelan Ambassador to Vietnam Jorge Rondon Uzcategui emphasized that Venezuelan President and Commander-in-Chief Hugo Chavez will be remembered for his struggles for justice, freedom and dignity of the people.
The Venezuelan diplomat added that besides remembering the late leader of Venezuela, the exhibition also features the friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries’ people and leaders.
When alive, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez gave special sentiments to the land and people of Vietnam. He made great contribution to strengthening the friendship, solidarity and cooperation between people of Vietnam and Venezuela.
Founding the Revolutionary Bolivarian Movement in his youth in the early 1980s, Hugo Chavez became Venezuelan President from 1999 until his death in 2013.
