PANO – A painting exhibition, themed “Painting Vietnam – Painting Russia”, kicked off on March 30th at Hoan Kiem Culture Centre, co-organised by the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organization (HAUFO), the Vietnam – Russia Friendship Association (VRFA) and the Russia –Vietnam Friendship Association (RVFA).

This is part of activities to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam – Russia diplomatic relations and welcome the visit to Vietnam by RVFA.

Elizabeta with her work

The exhibition displayed 70 paintings within the framework of the contest “Painting Vietnam – Painting Russia”, mobilised by RVFA last year.

Elizabeta, aged 10 from Xochi City, showed her gladness that President Ho Chi Minh is a character in her work, which was inspired by her mother.

According to Director of Russia Science and Culture Centre Zubtsova Elena Robertovna, the paintings on the natural beauty, people, tradition and the Vietnam – Russia friendship, expressed the participants’ sentiments and understanding about two countries. She also affirmed that the centre will organise more painting contests to enable the two countries’ children to have the opportunity to share, exchange and learn from each other.

The exhibition runs until April 1st.
