Within the framework of the exhibition, visitors have a chance to enjoy pieces of music staged by Vietnamese artists using traditional musical instruments.
Addressing the opening ceremony on September 8, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi hailed developments in the relationship between the two countries.
He reiterated the invitations of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Tran Dai Quang to China’s Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping to visit Vietnam and attend the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting slated for November this year in the central city of Da Nang.
The ambassador noted his belief that with efforts made by host Vietnam and support of the international community, the APEC Summit 2017 will be a success, contributing to affirming APEC’s increasingly important role to trade and investment liberalization and creating a new momentum for regional and global growth.
The event will last until September 12.
