PANO – A lacquer painting exhibition of the Vietnamese “Son ta” (Vietnamese traditional paint) artist group is taking place at the Exhibition House, 29 Hang Bai Street, Hanoi.

The exhibition displays 50 lacquer paintings by 17 painters, featuring Vietnamese nature, landscapes, and people. The artworks were composed in various styles with the use of- Vietnamese traditional lacquer materials.
Several outstanding works at the exhibition were “Groundswell” (Song ngam) by Nguyen Truong Linh, “A fallow garden” (Vuon hoang) by Hai Nam, “Aspiration” (Khat vong) by Tran Phi Truong and “Immortal Legend” (Huyen thoai bat tu) by Do Khai.
The exhibition will run until September 27.
