The exhibition presents nearly 100 unique ceramic works by more than 40 artists, featuring diverse experiments in ceramics, stoneware, and porcelain.
The works demonstrate a fluid combination of sculpture, painting, and graphic art, alongside an unbounded creative spirit expressed through various techniques such as incised carving, relief modeling, brush painting, glaze splashing, glaze spraying, in the shapes of vases and jars, abstract blocks and sculptural forms, blurring the boundaries of conventional ceramic expression.

Nearly 100 unique ceramic works showcased |
Using only earth, fire, and self-formulated glazes, the artists created fresh visual effects while still clearly expressing respect for and preservation of the traditional identity of Vietnamese ceramic craftsmanship.
Experimental approaches in works by sculptors and painters initially revealed noticeable shifts, creating distinctive marks compared to previous years.
At the exhibition, painter Nguyen Manh Tham presents two collections of vases and plates, and a single plate work. His creations revolve around three main themes of spring, realms of memory, and welcoming the New Year. According to the artist, the exhibition offered club members an opportunity to review their creative journeys and artistic activities of the past year.
Dr. Ho Nam, Chairman of the Art Council for Applied Fine Arts under the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, assessed that “Spring Silhouettes” is one of the large-scale ceramic exhibitions held at the beginning of 2026. The exhibition not only acknowledges the efforts of each artist, but also opens expectations for the formation of distinctive glaze palettes and more clearly defined personal visual languages in the future, contributing to affirming creative identity of Vietnamese ceramics.
The exhibition runs through February 9.
