Performance of costumes of ethnic minority groups at the Bac Son Culture and Tourism Week |
The experience activities, taking place within the framework of the Bac Son Culture and Tourism Week in 2022, attracted the active participation of local people and tourists.
Under the theme “Bac Son – Golden land, thousands of experiences,” the week was to mark the 82nd anniversary of Bac Son Uprising (September 27, 1940 – 2022). It also aimed to help locals and tourists learn more about the history of the revolutionary struggle of ethnic minority groups in Bac Son district and popularize spectacular landscapes in the locality.
The Bac Son Culture and Tourism Week featured various interesting activities, including rice harvesting competition, performance of costumes of ethnic minority groups, cultural exchanges, campfire, cake making, and reliving of rituals in the Dao ethnic group’s ‘cap sac’ ritual which is held to declare that a young man becomes an adult and can protect his family.
