According to French Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Vincent Floreani said that this was part of the fifth edition of the international event, Goût de France, held by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and French Embassies in different countries on March 21.

This year, restaurants and French Embassies in 150 countries across the world together created 2,500 French-style dinners with the aim to popularize French gastronomy to people worldwide.

In Vietnam, restaurants inthe Central and Southern regions served participants with French-style breakfasts and dinners. Organizers also introduced French cuisine courses in Vietnam to French learners, organized a seminar on a balanced and healthy diet, hosted an exhibition on French cheeses and jambons, and screened a film on French cuisine.
