Fireworks light up Ho Chi Minh City sky ahead of grand celebration
PANO - Ho Chi Minh City residents and domestic and international tourists flocked to Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street and Bach Dang Wharf Park in District 1 to attend activities within the "Colors of the city named after President Ho Chi Minh" festival in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification, on April 26.
The program, organized by Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Culture and Sports, attracted the participation of major theaters, art centers, and a large number of artists across the city.
The highlight of the event was a spectacular 3D mapping show combined with symphony performances, artistic lighting, fireworks displays, along with street music, dance, and sports activities, vividly portraying a dynamic, culturally rich Ho Chi Minh City with aspiration to rise up.
Both residents and tourists expressed their deep emotions and pride in being part of the lively festival atmosphere, rich in historical significance. They also shared hopes that Ho Chi Minh City will continue to grow strongly and reach new heights regionally and globally.
