The exhibition is to open on January 20 at the museum’s exhibition room.

With over 200 objects, documents and images to be displayed, the exhibition will be organized into 2 parts: the cultural heritage of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum and Ngoc Linh ginseng – the national treasure.

The exhibition will provide an overview of the culture, nature and tourism products of Kon Tum province to Hanoi’s people through objects such as farming, hunting and fishing tools, household appliances; copper pots, costumes, jewelry, musical instruments and scientific documents…

In addition, the exhibition presents traditional handicraft performances: pottery making of Ba Na people, yarn-dyeing and weaving of Xo Dang people, hunting, fishing tools and musical instruments manipulating, folk songs and traditional musical instruments performances…

Through the program, the organizing panel aims to introduce the culture, people and nature of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum, along with potentials for economic, cultural, tourism developments and investment promotion of the whole region in general and Kon Tum province in particular. Especially, Ngoc Linh ginseng which is dubbed as the national treasure planted in Kon Tum will be highlighted at the event.

The organizing panel will apply advanced technology such as touch screen, 3D, 4D technology to introduce objects. This form of exhibition will create impressive effects, enhancing visitors’ interaction and experience.

This is the first exhibition to be held in Hanoi to introduce, promote the cultural heritage of Kon Tum province as well as the special value of Ngoc Linh ginseng.

The exhibition is expected to last till the end of this year.
