PANO – The Vietnam National Museum of History on September 22nd held a ceremony to receive the First-Class Labor Order and kicked off an exhibition on the renewal process.

Over the past years, the museum has made a considerable contribution to the development of the system of Vietnam’s museums. For its great achievements, the museum has received the State’s First Class Labor Order; and 8 its groups and 13 individuals received certificates of merit of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On this occasion, the exhibition, themed “Renewal, Journey of dreams”, with about 200 exhibits including documents and photos highlighting contents, meaning, and achievements of the renewal process of the nation.

The exhibition was arranged in various themes, such as “To renew or to die”, “Renewal for progress”, “Opportunities”, “Move – Integration”, “Growth”, “Strength”. Particularly, the theme “To renew or to die” shows reasons and historical context in the first years of the 80 decade; policies and role of renewal process, and the hallmark of politicians in the implementation of national reforms.
