On display at the exhibition are more than 300 photos, documents and artifacts featuring the clear-sighted leadership of the Party; the heroic spirit of the whole nation during the 1953-1954 Winter-Spring Strategic Offensive and the Dien Bien Phu Campaign; gratitude activities of leaders of the Party, State and military for fallen soldiers who made contribution to the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Precious photos, artifacts and documents exhibited at the event are being kept at the Vietnam Military History Museum, the Vietnam National Museum of History, and the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam. Attentively, many of them are made public for the first time.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Dinh Xuan Hoa, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Military History Museum, underscored that the exhibition is an occasion to honor glorious feats-of-arm and commemorate heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national liberation. It also contributes to educating troops and people, especially young people, and encouraging them to further study and train hard to accomplish all assigned missions, thereby building and safeguarding the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The exhibition will run until the end of May.

The People's Army Newspaper would like to introduce several photos of the exhibition.
