Enjoying Indian culture in Vietnam
PANO - An "Indian Culture Days in Vietnam" program was launched on October 30 at Vinh University, Nghe An province.
The event was co-organized by the Institute for Indian and Southwest Asian Studies (VIISAS), Vinh University, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, and the Indian Embassy in Hanoi.
Participants had a chance to join in various activities such as film screenings, a Diwalli festival, Rangoli decoration, and more.

The event aims to promote Indian culture to students and teachers at Vinh University, thus helping them learn more about the biggest traditional festivals of India.
A photo exhibition featuring outstanding Vietnamese and Indian people such as President Ho Chi Minh, Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi was also held.
Through the exhibition, visitors were provided with more information on the Indian great men’s contributions to India, and the development of the traditional friendly relations between the two countries.
