Following the ceremonial offerings, a procession was held, featuring the palanquin of King An Duong Vuong and those from various communes of Dong Anh district, including Co Loa, Van Thuong, Mach Trang, San Gia, Ngoai Sat, Dai Bi, Cau Ca, and Thu Cuu.

The festival opening attracted thousands of locals and tourists. Alongside traditional rituals, the event offered a variety of vibrant cultural and sports activities, such as the Loa Thanh volleyball tournament, traditional wrestling, crossbow shooting competitions, human chess matches, performances of classical opera (tuong) and popular opera (cheo), Dao Thuc water puppetry, and quan ho folk singing.

Speaking at the festival's opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Tam, Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Anh district People's Committee, emphasized that the festival serves as an opportunity to encourage locals to engage in emulation movements, actively work and the promote the locality's heritage, culture, and tourism potential to visitors.

She expressed her hope that each visitor would contribute to building a creative cultural space, fostering cultural industries, and transforming Dong Anh district into a civilized and sustainable urban area of Hanoi.

The festival's organizers also launched a website at https://dulichcoloa.com.vn, enhanced social media outreach, and promoted the heritage tourism route of Co Loa.
