The event aimed to welcome the success of the 14th National Party Congress and celebrate the 80th traditional day of the Engineering Corps (March 25, 1946 - 2026). Major General Dinh Ngoc Tuong, Political Commissar of the Engineering Corps, attended and directed the event.

The book and newspaper exhibition area was arranged scientifically and solemnly, featuring various thematic sections. It reflected the sacred and inseparable relationship among the Party, the Fatherland, and the military, as well as the connection between the nation’s glorious cause and military engineers throughout history.

During the exchange, officers and soldiers of Brigade 72 interacted with Senior Colonel, writer, and journalist Dang Vuong Hung and musician Truong Quy Hai. Through the guests’ battlefield memories and literary and artistic works, the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and military engineers during the fierce years of combat to protect the Fatherland was vividly portrayed.

The event contributed to disseminating and educating patriotism and national pride, spreading the spirit of the peak emulation drive titled “80 years of proud tradition - Upholding feats of arms - Opening the road to victory” across the Engineering Corps.

On this occasion, the Military Library presented 200 books and the People’s Public Security Library donated 300 books to officers and soldiers of Brigade 72.
