To mark 30 years of the diplomatic ties between EU and ASEAN, Vietnam Music, Dance and Play Theatre (VMDPT) in coordination with the EU’s representative organ in Vietnam will organise an art performance named “EU-ASEAN Opera Gala’ on Nov. 25-26 at the Hanoi Opera House.
Under the direction of the British conductor, Graham Sutcliffe, the symphony orchestra of VMDPT and Hanoi International Choir will perform extracts of European classical opera works composed by G. Verdi, G. Rossini, W.A. Mozart, G. Puccini, J. Strauss, G. Donizetti.
Especially, songs will be performed by famous Vietnamese singers and international artists from Thailand, Holland and the UK.
As planned, the EU’s chairman, Barosso, will attend the opening night of “EU-ASEAN Opera Gala” on Nov. 25.
