Pham Chi Thanh, head of the Vietnam National Political Publishing House, said this is the second publishing facility Vietnam has given to Laos.
He expected the factory will help the publishing house fulfill its duty of promoting the local governments and Party’s polices and laws.
Lao Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Buangean Saphuvong thanked the Vietnamese Government, Party and people for the valuable gift and committed to effectively using the factory to disseminate information on Lao policy and Vietnam-Laos ties.
On the occasion, the Vietnam National Political Publishing House also presented its Lao equivalent laptops and computers worth about VND 300 million (USD 13,200) and friendship orders in acknowledgement of its publishing books on Vietnamese law and policy in Laos.
