Reportedly, the association held many important activities, such as  organizing the 2nd conference of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association's Central Committee, expanding the association's development, supporting Cambodian students for their study in Vietnam, to name but a few. In addition, the local-level organizations also held delegation exchanges, healthcare programs and gifts offering ceremonies on Cambodia's traditional festivals or Tet holidays.

At the conference, delegates agreed to continue boosting information dissemination about friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia, holding more people-to-people exchanges between the two sides'  organizations and charitable activities in the time to come, and so on, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cambodia (June 24th 1967).
