Jointly organized by the Faculty of Communication and External Cultural Affairs, the Lao Alumni Delegation under the Academy, and the Youth Union Organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event aimed to connect the younger generations of the two countries through meeting, sharing, and boost their mutual understanding, thereby honoring, spreading, and further deepening the Vietnam - Laos relationship.

The festival created an open, youthful, and highly experiential space with a wide range of highlight activities such as the photo exhibition “Colors of Vietnam - Laos students,” Vietnam - Laos artistic performances, and interactive experiences of traditional culture and folk games of Vietnam and Laos.
Attending the festival, Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Khamphao Ernthavanh highly appreciated the event and said the organization of this exchange was important, creating favorable conditions and opportunities for students of both countries to cherish, recognize, and better understand the beautiful cultures of the two nations, and to learn about the long-standing history of the two countries’ relations, thereby continuing to strongly promote and further strengthen bilateral relations.
Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam Nguyen Manh Dong emphasized that Vietnam and Laos share a truly special relationship in which half a bowl of rice is shared, and a stalk of vegetables is split.
The Vietnamese official said that throughout the history of the two nations, they have always stood side-by-side in development. With their strategic bond, the Vietnam - Laos relations will see new advances. He emphasized that the future of bilateral relations depends greatly on the younger generations. Therefore, young people, especially students, need to better understand the history of Vietnam - Laos relations and take responsibility for contributing to, nurturing, and developing this relationship in line with the bond that is deeper than the waters of the Red and Mekong rivers.
