Political Academy meets with Lao students on Bunpimay Festival

At the meeting, Maj. Gen. Nguyen Van Thap sent the best New Year wishes to Lao students on the occasion of Bunpimay Festival.

The deputy political commissar of  the Political Academy also commended their efforts and academic achievements while affirming the academy’s commitment to providing favorable conditions for their learning and daily life, thereby enabling the students to focus on their studies and contribute to the development of a stronger Lao People’s Army and nation.

On behalf of the Lao students, Major Seng Thoong, head of the delegation of Lao students studying at the academy, thanked the academy for its continued support as well as for organizing such a meaningful celebration of the traditional Bunpimay Festival.

The meeting featured traditional Bunpimay rituals, including the tying of threads on the wrist for good luck and the water-splashing ceremony for blessings.
