Lao students stay with Vietnamese families
PANO – Relevant agencies and organizations in Ho Chi Minh City launched a program “Lao students with Vietnamese families” on May 18.
The program aims to give Lao students who study at education institutions in the Southern hub a chance to experience daily life and practical cultural features of Vietnamese families.

Under a pilot project, 24 Lao students will stay with 13 local households for three months.
Lao Consul General in HCM City Phimpha Keomixay thanked the local authorities for their good care and support for Lao students who live far away from their families, and spoke highly of this homestay project, saying that it helps them learn more about Vietnam.
