Foreigners saved at sea
PANO – Two Filipinos were rescued by Vietnamese trawler PY-95021TS, captained by Nguyen Thai Hung from Phu Dong ward, Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province, on January 9.

The men were later transferred to the Border Guard Command of Phu Yen province the same day at Dong Tac port in Phu Dong precinct, Tuy Hoa city.
Earlier, at 2pm, December 24 last year, the Vietnamese trawler with 7 fishermen found two Filipinos, Vilardo C. Ruzr and Severino Noveras Camposano after their 7 days drifting at sea, about 160 nautical miles Northeast of Song Tu Tay Island.
Thanks to the care of the Vietnamese fishermen, the two Filipinos are recovering.
After receiving the two distressed foreigners, the command made preparations to send them back to the Philippines.
