Attending and delivering a speech at the opening ceremony was Standing Vice Chairman of the Dien Bien provincial People’s Committee Pham Duc Toan. Also in attendance were representatives from various provincial departments and agencies and leaders from the provinces of Luang Prabang, Phongsaly, and Udomxay of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

According to the plan, from February 10 to March 21, 28 students from the three Northern Lao provinces will receive specialized training on the application of information technology in teaching and the use of teaching equipment in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Additionally, they will visit historical and cultural sites in the province and conduct practical field studies at educational institutions in Dien Bien.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Dien Bien leader emphasized that to ensure the success of the training and practical sessions, the provincial Center for Continuing Education should make thorough preparations in terms of facilities and closely manage the teaching process while ensuring the program’s progress and quality. He also urged the teaching staff to strictly follow the curriculum and teaching plan as directed by the provincial Department of Education and Training.
