Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen highlighted that in a bid to enhance women’s roles, Vietnam is completing legislative framework and gender equality policies, especially economic judicial capacity for women.

At the forum, numerous specialists agreed that businesswomen are playing an increasingly important role in each nation’s development, and should therefore receive greater attention from all levels of society.

Meanwhile, other participants recommended that there should be additional conferences to share business experience and promote trade relations among enterprises in the region.

They also concurred that governments need to create favourable conditions and support women entrepreneurs in a timely fashion to enable them leverage their capacity to the fullest extent.
