Coordination work boosted to implement “Satra for national sea and islands” program
PANO - On November 14 in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Saigon Trading Corporation (Satra in short), in coordination with the Naval Region 2 Command, held a program to review the implementation of the “Satra for national sea and islands” program in the 2022-2023 period and launched the program in the 2023-2024 period.
In the 2022-2023 period, the program has been implemented practically. The two units have closely worked together to carry out dissemination work on national sea and islands to the company with more than 1,700 people, and supported needy households in Naval Region 2, with a total amount of VND 1.2 billion.
In addition, the naval unit also received assistance from relevant organizations with nearly VND 6 billion.
In the coming time, both sides will boost disseminating information about sea and islands, Youth Union work and youth movements, and help needy households to effectively conduct the program.

During the event, Chief of the Naval Region 2 Command’s Department of Political Affairs Naval Captain Do Hong Duyen informed delegates about the situation of national sea and islands, the guidelines and polices of the Party and State in addressing issues at sea, contributing to firmly protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands.
On the occasion, the delegation offered incense at the unit’s barracks, and toured missile ship of Brigade 167, platform model and joined a cultural and artistic exchange.
