DPRK Chairman arrives in Hanoi

PANO – After a 170-kilometer journey starting from Dong Dang Railway Station in the Northern province of Lang Son, Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un and his entourage arrived in Hanoi at 11:00 February 26, beginning his official visit to Vietnam and attendance of the DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit.

Previously, the DPRK top official was welcomed by Head of the Central Commission for Information and Education Vo Van Thuong; Minister, Chief of the Governmental Office Mai Tien Dung; Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung; Vice Chairman of the State President Office Chu Van Yem; Vietnamese Ambassador to the DPRK Le Ba Vinh, leaders of Lang Son province; and hundreds of high school students at Dong Dang Railway Station.
