Ripe rambutan redden gardens in Ben Tre
PANO - Rambutan season has come to the Mekong delta province of Ben Tre. Since this mid-August, gardens in Cho Lach district of the province have been turning crimson by the ripe rambutan, which always leaves deep impressions on all tourists.
Cho Lach is famous for delicious and tasty fruits. It is home to nearly 6,000 hectares of fruit trees, mainly rambutan, mangosteen, durian, and green-skinned grapefruit. Over 3,400 hectares of land with fruit trees are set aside for rambutan trees.
Cho Lach’s rambutan has been exported to the US, China and some European countries.
