The corner of Nguyen Van Cu street is tinged with colorful flowers and sunshine in March. The purple flamboyant originated from South America. The very first trees were planted in Da Lat by Engineer Luong Van Sau. He was one of the first Vietnamese agricultural engineers to receive formal training in flowers and graduated from Versailles Agricultural School in France.
