The event draws businesses from 43 provinces and cities across Vietnam and 21 countries and territories to exhibit their products in around 500 booths, the Vietnam Tourism Association said at a press conference on March 13.

The VITM 2018 will contain a number of activities to encourage travel firms to promptly apply modern technology to sell their products, thus promoting their capacity to attract and serve customers online in the digital era.

A seminar “Online travel - Inevitable trend of Vietnam tourism” will be held, together with pavilions for 10 online travel agencies.

In addition, more than 40,000 low-budgetary air tickets and 15,000 discounted package tours will be on offer at the fair.

The Vietnam Tourism Association calls on travel agencies to promptly apply modern technologies to sell their products, thus promoting their capacity to attract and serve customers online.
