Flight VJ225 that departed from Vinh at 9:30pm had to make an emergency landing in the central city of Da Nang at 10:30pm the same day following a technical warning, and resumed its journey at 0:35 on February 7.

A Vietjet Air representative said passengers’ safety is the top priority, noting that any warning should be handled in accordance with the process.

It has carried more than 65 million passengers to date over 105 routes covering destinations across Vietnam and around the world, including Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Cambodia.

The airline has plans to expand its flight network across the Asia-Pacific region and has signed contracts to buy new-generation aircraft from prestigious global plane manufacturers.
