A touch-screen information kiosk on January 4 was introduced to the public by the Mekong Travel Information Ltd.Co, Metinfo, and Can Tho’s Tourism Department in Can Tho City.

The equipment worth about VND 60 million has a screen sized 168 x 50 x 50cm attached to an electric box body which contains advertisement flyers. The kiosk was designed to provide travel information such as beauty spots, restaurants, and hotels to tourists.

According to Metinfo’s Director Tran Kinh Dinh, in the long term, besides from providing travel information, other fields will be covered, even covering the whole Mekong River Delta.

This Metinfo activity is to celebrate the National Green Tourism Mekong-Can Tho 2008 which will take place on February 21.
