Top Vietnamese travel firms honored
PANO – A ceremony to praise outstanding Vietnamese tourism agencies and present the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2019 was held on July 15 in Hanoi.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of Vietnam's tourism industry (July 9, 1960-2017) in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Steering Committee on Tourism Vu Duc Dam.
It is the most prestigious annual award of the country’s tourism sector which was first held in 1999, aiming to honor those that make significant contributions to Vietnam’s tourism development.
The award this year was given to 10 inbound tour operators, 10 outbound tour operators, 10 domestic tour operators, 10 five-star hotels, 10 four-star hotels, five tourist automobile carriers, 10 restaurants, five tourist attractions, 10 golf courses, and five tourism investment groups, to name but a few.
