PANO - The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, will offer preferential prices for domestic routes in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital City (October 10th).

Accordingly, VND 399,000 will be the cost for a ticket for routes between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat/Buon Ma Thuot/Phu Quoc/Nha Trang, VND 499,000 for routes of Hanoi-Chu Lai and Ho Chi Minh City-Hue/Quy Nhon, and VND 999,000 for routes of Hanoi-Da Lat/Buon Ma Thuot/Quy Nhon/Tuy Hoa/Can Tho or Ho Chi Minh City-Hai Phong/Vinh/Thanh Hoa.

This program will be for passengers purchasing one-way tickets in Vietnam between September 22nd and October 7th, departing from September 26th to November 30th.

The above prices have not included tax and other fees.

Meanwhile, on September 18th, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietjet Air signed a credit agreement with the Tien Phong Commercial Joint-Stock Bank (TPBank). Accordingly, the airline will initially loan US $21 million to purchase more planes for its modern fleet to improve the service for air travelers.

The same day, Vietjet Air received the latest generation A320 Sharklet with tail number VN-A696 at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

At present, this airline is operating more than 700 domestic and international flights per week.
