Vung Tau MRCC’s ship rescues five distressed fishermen
PANO – Ship SAR 413 of the Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center Region 3 (Vung Tau MRCC) has successfully taken five fishermen on a troubled trawler ashore.
Earlier, having received a mayday signal from fishermen on a trawler, which was sheltering from the ninth storm in Vung Tau waters, Vung Tau MRCC’s leaders sent SAR 413 to the scene to conduct a rescue mission.

After two hours struggling with strong winds and torrential rains, the rescue team approached the boat and took five fishermen to Vung Tau port safely.
The Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Border Guard and local authorities visited and presented gifts to the distressed and completed documents to hand over the fishermen to their families.
