Vietnamese university rated high in 2019 THE University Impact Rankings
PANO – Ho Chi Minh City-based Ton Duc Thang University was listed in the 101st - 200th ranks in the overall 2019 University Impact Rankings announced by the Times Higher Education (THE) magazine in London, the UK.
Notably, the Vietnamese university ranked the 48th - 58th in Quality Education; and 60 - 70th in Sustainable Cities and Communities, Partnership for the Goals, and Climate Action.
The rankings aim to recognize universities across the world for their social and economic impact, evaluating success of higher education institutions in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) according to the United Nations standards.

The THE University Impact Rankings consists of 11 out of 17 SDGs criteria defined by the United Nations. The requirement for a university to be eligible to participate in this rankings is to be accredited and recognized by international accreditation organizations.
The 2019 THE University Impact Rankings listed 462 universities worldwide.
Notably, Ton Duc Thang University is the first education institution in Vietnam named in the rankings.
