The lab totally costing USD 700,000 (around VND 16 billion) and consisting of international-standard equipment is to train the Bachelor program of aeronautical engineering and the Master program of international air transport operations management.

Trainees for these programs also practice their skills at the Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO).
