Vietnam earns golds at Int’l Chemistry Olympiad
PANO - Vietnamese students won three gold and one silver medals at the 2017 International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) in Thailand, the best record at an International Chemistry Olympiad.

Accordingly, four Vietnamese students participated in the contest and all of them won the medals.
Three gold medals went to Dinh Quang Hieu, a 12th grader, Pham Duc Anh, an 11th grader, from High School for Gifted Students - University of Natural Sciences under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi; and Nguyen Bang Thanh Lam, a 12th grader from Amsterdam High School in Hanoi.
Hoang Nghia Tuyen, a 12th grader from Phan Boi Chau Gifted High School in Nghe An province, brought home the silver medal.
With these achievements, the Vietnamese delegation placed second with China, after the US delegation.
