Hoang Anh and Anh Tien, twin brothers from the central city of Danang, have won the gold medal at the 2012 International Youth Invention Exhibition (IYIE) in Taiwan for their fingerprint identification system.
The system can be used on computers, mobile devices and hardwares. Photographs of fingerprints will be sent to computers to compare with available data and the computers will provide information about these fingerprints.
It will help investigators to reduce the time for collecting information about law breakers. In addition, elderly or amnesic people will no longer need to remember password or personal information if they use the system.
Since 2005, the twin brother bagged many domestic and international awards with their 13 information technology products mainly for studying such as biological dictionary and support systems for university enrollment on PC-Mobile and for study and reference on mobile phones.
Anh and Tien now focus on making robots and creating energy using natural resources.
