Senior officials pay pre-Tet visits to Tra Vinh, HCM City
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited and offered lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh on January 19.

Visiting two Heroic Vietnamese Mothers in Tra Vinh city, the Vice President affirmed the Party and State always keep in mind revolution contributors’ dedication to the national development and defense, noting that caring for their families is the responsibility of leaders from central to local levels.
At the meeting with the provincial executive board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Xuan spoke highly of contributions by local religious dignitaries last year, especially to the COVID-19 combat. She also voiced her delight that Buddhist followers in Tra Vinh have stayed united, complied with the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws, and worked hard to improve their life and help with local development.

The Vice President also visited workers of CyVina company, based in Long Duc Industrial Park. She expressed her sympathy for businesses and their employees over the pandemic-caused difficulties, applauding efforts by local authorities to help enterprises resume operations and ensure jobs for workers.
On this occasion, she presented gifts to 50 disadvantaged workers of CyVina.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia sent Tet greetings to the municipal Department of Public Security.
Congratulating the department, including its cyber-security division, on their prominent achievements, he said Party and State leaders hope that the force will make new breakthroughs in national safeguarding on the cyberspace in 2022.
Also on January 19, Nghia visited some intellectuals and low-income households in the city.
