Revolution contributors to receive Tet gifts
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has proposed presenting gifts worth over 386 billion VND (17 million USD) to contributors to the nation’s revolution on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Empowered by the Prime Minister, the
MoLISA will submit the proposal to President Tran Dai Quang for approval.
The beneficiaries are those who
joined the revolution before the August Revolution in 1945, heroic mothers,
heroes of the people’s armed forces, seriously wounded ex-servicemen, war
veterans exposed to Agent Orange/Dioxin, war invalids, and relatives of
martyrs, among others.
The program’s funding is sourced
from the State budget.
