Over 11,600 Vietnamese workers join language examination 2018
PANO - Over 11,600 candidates, on June 23, participated in the Korean language examinations 2018 held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, according to a program on Employment Permit System (EPS) between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).
The examinations were jointly organized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and the RoK’s Human Resources Development Service (HRD).
The two-day Korean language examinations selected 6,300 qualified workers to work in the manufacturing sector in the RoK. Vietnamese workers, aged 18-39, who want to work in the RoK under the EPS program, have to pass the language test, conducted by the HRD.
As scheduled, the Korean language examinations 2018 for workers in the fishery sector will take place on August 20 to24 to select 1,600 workers in this industry.
